AMETHYST AND PEARLS OR A STROKE OF GENIUS ?
Wow, I think I pulled some hair out over this one but it's well worth it. It's just lovely and I have received many compliments on this piece. This seems to be two necklaces, when in fact, it is just one. I have a freshwater Pearl, Swarovski crystal and amethyst strand for the inside piece. Then for the outside strand, I have combined really wonderfully detailed picture jasper square stones, with Swarovski crystals, small amethyst stones and Czech glass beads... as if this wasn't eye catching enough, (I'm totally patting myself on the back on this one) I have wire wrapped an uncut amethyst cluster with sterling silver, fresh water pearls and a tiny sterling silver bead. These two strands, that could easily stand by themselves as individual necklaces are then brought together by a lager amethyst stone, Czech glass beads and more square rainbow jasper stones to finish out the back of the necklace. The closure is a sterling silver figure eight clasp. The necklace at it's longest is 18 inches long. The pendant is 1 1/4 inches long and 1 inch wide. It's spectacular!
